Quality
We developed a new module to investigate and analyse non-conformance reports and complaints. This includes a set of dashboards and reports to provide month-on-month costing data, analysis by customer or supplier, and scrappage entry.
“We initially introduced the EOA system to manage H&S aspects for our business, so logging and investigating accidents and nearmisses, and control of contractor approvals.
The system has since been developed to incorporate various aspects of the sites Quality Management Systems. This has introduced a much sleeker and more effective process for management of our complaints and internal non-conformance processes from which we can obtain bespoke reports for statistics and trending analysis to present to senior managers, customers, and suppliers.
The system we have was developed based on our own requirements and when a new idea or a change has been requested, this is always handled professionally and efficiently. Throughout the development of the QMS modules, Alastair has been a consistent and thorough support with regular meetings to ensure the system functions are effective.
A thoroughly recommended system to streamline certain QMS processes. To add to this, BRC, ISO and our customers have been impressed with the system when presented during audits.”

Risk, Biological Agents
We have worked with UKHSA for over 10years, developing their risk and COSHH assessment formats. New modules have been developed to manage biological agents and biological agent risk assessments. More recently an engineering change control module has been added.
“EOA’s software is a dynamic system which stores and manages all our risk assessments. They provide a high standard and timely software support, and innovative ideas and improvements to support our business needs.
We use EOA’s software to manage and store our risk assessments. It is an easy system to use and to navigate around. The software enables us to provide assurance for our current risk assessments, with an accessible archive system and provides email reminders to ensure that reviews are undertaken in a timely manner. There are bespoke reports and database statistics options which enables access to required data for our reporting.
This is a flexible and dynamic system which can be tailored to your specific needs.”

COSHH
Wolverhampton Council required an easy to operate COSHH system to be able to generate assessments and build up a chemical database. We have adapted an assessment module to include features from COSHH Essentials that can be used across all areas of the council.
“We commissioned EOA to provide an online system for managing our COSHH assessments following a competitive tendering exercise.
During implementation we found EOA to be flexible to our needs, and they were accommodating in developing the solution to meet both our legal and organisational needs.
Throughout the implementation process we found communication with Alastair to be clear and timely. The delivery of training from EOA met our needs and was delivered both in person and online, with good results.”

Singleton Birch’s program allows them to report and investigate all events across the business from personal injury to environmental and security breaches. This includes workflow to ensure that correct members of staff are informed and actions/investigations are completed.
Work instructions have been added in a new module which can include images per step within the instruction. An electronic sign-off procedure ensures that staff acknowledge that they have read and understood the instruction and are informed if there are any changes made.

H&S data collation across multiple sites
Paragon wanted to set up an annual task tracker for each site and be able to monitor progress. They also wanted a Health & Safety performance summary facility per site. This new program cover near misses, accident data, summary of RIDDOR reports, H&S committee meetings and insurance claims. Where possible, information is populated automatically from other inputs within the program.
