Safety Organiser’s task/area risk assessment is a great place to start for assessing and controlling risk within your workplace. You can quickly identify high-risk activities and implement controls to manage them.
Hazards are selected from a database assembled for your organisation. The program can be configured to pre-set the severity/likelihood of each hazard and provide a selection of effects and controls if required. Hazards can be risk-rated before and after control measures or with the existing controls and after further controls. The overall assessment risk rating is based on the highest hazard rating.
Groups of people at risk are selected within the assessment. Assessments that relate to a group can be identified through the reporting and the dashboard.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is chosen from a database for your organisation. This can be displayed as the mandatory symbol icons in the output report. Analysis reports can identify assessments that use a particular item – useful if you are planning to replace a particular piece of PPE in the organisation.
Photographs can be uploaded for the assessment and included in output reports for clarity.
Corrective actions are generated from the hazard analysis. These can be updated through the action tracker and managed through the automated email reminder system.
Documents relating to the task/area can be uploaded for the assessment and are available for users to view.

We provide a comprehensive selection of specific assessments in addition to the main risk assessment module to help your legal compliance. You can choose assessments relevant to your industry and requirements:-
Electronic authorisation ensures a chain of control to a manager for assessment completion and approval. Task/area assessments can have up to 3 levels of authorisation depending on the overall risk rating.
This can be handled in different ways through the program.
In its simplest form the output report can include a final sign-off page.
Alternatively, users and groups of users can be attached to the assessment. They will receive an email when the assessment has been authorised to prompt them to view and acknowledge that they have read and understood the document. They will need to sign-off the assessment again when the assessment is reviewed, and will be emailed with a fresh link to do so.
Reporting allows assessors and managers to quickly see who has signed off individual assessments and the assessment sign-off status for a user.
Assessments can be set as sensitive with restricted access. This is useful if a confidential process is being assessed or the assessment is regarding an individual.
Only the assessor, authoriser and selected users will be able to view the contents of these assessments.
Users can contact risk assessors via the change request process if they notice that an assessment requires modification. The assessor can reply to the person who raised the request. This provides an audit trail against the risk assessments of all comments from the users.
Users can be attached to individual assessments to be informed when they are reviewed and re-authorised.
A full history of an assessment is retained, and older versions are copied into an archive.
